Position: Fire Door Carpenter / Inspector Location: London & Home Counties Job Type: Permanent OR Fixed term contract Salary: £39,000 + Overtime + Van Fuel Card + 28 Days holiday Start Date: August / September About Us: Investing in homes and neighbourhoods, social housing specialist. This particular role is working within the Fire team specifically flat entrance doors. Carrying out fire safety checks, door safety, fireproofing, making sure current rules and regulations are up to date. Once the Carpenter has gained entry they will they evaluate the standards of the door. Responsibilities: Flat entry door maintenance Fire door proofing Inspection of doors Answer questions from a PDA device when evaluating door regulations Requirements: 2+ Years carpentry experience Proven experience in flat door entry / fire door / social housing Ability to use PDA Preferred: NVQ Carpentry Level 2 Package: 28 days annual leave + public holidays Van & fuel card Health care cash plan Life insurance Flexible working Career breaks – After 5 years service you’re entitled to 12 months off Buying / selling leave Pension – increased to 6 – 12% Sickness pay Interested?
