Build Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established fire protection contractor for an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Manager to join a live project based in Islington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong reputation within the fire protection sector. The successful candidate will take ownership of the installation programme, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of fire alarm installation works on site.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure programmes are achieved.
- Oversee quality control and ensure installations comply with current British Standards and client specifications.
- Carry out site inspections, audits and progress meetings.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
- Manage site documentation, RAMS, permits and installation records.
- Resolve technical and operational issues as they arise.
- Report project progress to senior management.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing fire alarm installation projects.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and BS 5839.
- Previous experience supervising engineers and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid qualification (desirable).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
