The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an Estimator on behalf of a well-established and ambitious Curtain Walling & Cladding contractor based in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work, where you will play a key role in securing and delivering high-value façade packages.

The Role

This position is focused purely on estimating and winning façade & cladding projects, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive tenders for curtain walling & cladding packages
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
  • Identifying risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost efficiencies
  • Attending occasional site and client meetings where required
  • Supporting the business in securing new projects and maintaining client relationships

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator (essential)
  • Experience within Curtain Walling, Cladding, or Facades (highly desirable)
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
