Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception through to final account.
  • Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages, valuations and variations.
  • Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts.
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Producing accurate cost reports and financial updates for senior management.
  • Managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications.
  • Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction or civil engineering sector.
  • Experience working on projects involving groundworks, earthworks, remediation, infrastructure, enabling works or civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management.
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and oversee multiple schemes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
