Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception through to final account.
- Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages, valuations and variations.
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
- Producing accurate cost reports and financial updates for senior management.
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications.
- Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Experience working on projects involving groundworks, earthworks, remediation, infrastructure, enabling works or civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and oversee multiple schemes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
