Renewables Electrician

About the Role

As a Renewables Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of renewable energy systems within both occupied and void properties . Your work will cover a variety of renewable technologies, including:

  • Solar PV systems

  • Battery storage units

  • EV charging points

  • Heat pumps (air and ground source)

  • Associated electrical works, fault-finding and remedial repairs

  • You’ll work to deliver a high-quality service within a residentialsetting. All works should be completed efficiently, safely, and in line with industry best practice to ensure an excellent customer experience.

    About You

    The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent) (desirable)

  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and servicing renewable technologies (solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, heat pumps)

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and compliance

  • Experience working in both occupied and void properties

  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering work on time, first time

  • Experience within social housing maintenance (desirable)

  • You must also:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
