Build Recruitment are working with a leading name in housing, regeneration, and retrofit works across the UK. With a strong pipeline of projects, we are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver social housing decarbonisation works across the East Midlands. In recent times, they have also been investing in dedicated delivery and compliance teams, research, supply chains, and systems, to gear up for the net zero retrofit challenge. However, they’re still delivering and growing the wider planned maintenance services.
Role Overview
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of decarbonisation and retrofit projects within occupied social housing. You will manage site operations, ensure compliance with PAS 2035 standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of social housing retrofit and decarbonisation projects
- Manage site teams, contractors, and consultants to achieve project targets
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client expectations
- Report on progress, risks, and commercial performance
- Engage with residents to ensure satisfaction throughout project delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within social housing, retrofit, or refurbishment
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and contract management
- Understanding of PAS 2035, energy efficiency measures, or decarbonisation projects (desirable)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- CSCS Black card
- Commercially aware with strong problem-solving ability
