We are recruiting for a Static Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team at Alstom in Crewe. This site-based position involves carrying out both planned and reactive electrical maintenance in a safety-critical engineering environment. Due to the on-call element of the role, candidates must live no more than 20 miles from the site to ensure suitable response times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and site procedures.
- Diagnose, fault-find, and repair a wide range of electrical systems.
- Support the engineering team with technical issues and site operations.
- Take part in the on-call rota and attend site promptly when required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Test & Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
- AM2 qualification
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a static facility.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Must live within 20 miles of Alstom Crewe due to call-out requirements.

- Hourly Rate: £25.39 (Umbrella)
- Overtime: £30.05 (x1.5) and £50.78 (x2.0)
