We are currently recruiting for a Loft Insulation Installer to join a growing Energy Efficiency team delivering insulation and retrofit works across Cornwall. This is a permanent, full-time position working within occupied residential properties, helping improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel costs for residents. The successful candidate will have experience within insulation, construction, roofing, property maintenance, or a similar trade background and will be responsible for delivering high-quality loft insulation installations and associated remedial works in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Loft Insulation Installer:
- Installing loft insulation within domestic properties
- Carrying out basic ventilation improvements and associated building fabric works
- Completing remedial works required before insulation installations
- Ensuring all installations comply with PAS 2035 standards and manufacturer specifications
- Working safely within occupied properties while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Communicating effectively with residents regarding works being undertaken
- Accurately recording completed works using handheld devices and company systems
- Completing installation paperwork, certificates, job sheets and associated documentation
