We are working with a leading provider of heating, maintenance, and renewable energy solutions within the social housing sector, to recruit an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer.
Duties of the Domestic Gas Engineer:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
- Diagnosing and rectifying breakdowns in social housing properties.
- Completing repairs efficiently and in line with Gas Safe regulations.
- Managing parts ordering and job progression to ensure timely completion.
- Using PDA technology to update jobs, record work completed, and book parts.
- Liaising with tenants and clients, providing updates and delivering excellent customer service.
- Participating in the company call-out rota.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements of the Domestic Gas Engineer role:
- Current Gas Safe registration
- ACS qualifications including: CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
