An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Revit/BIM Technician to join a consultancy based on the outskirts of Redruth. My client, who is a Building Services Client, provides full MEP Building Services across a variety of sectors including Healthcare, MOD, MOJ, Commercial and Industrial sector. This is a great time to join this company as they are winning projects left, right and centre and you would join the company at the beginning of their exciting journey. With an already huge project pipeline, if you are a Revit/BIM technician and are looking for a change, this could be the role for you.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Autodesk Revit and a sound understanding of BIM workflows. You will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality Revit models and technical drawings in support of project delivery across various sectors. You will also:
- Create and manage detailed Revit models for MEP projects
- Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation
- Coordinate Revit models with external consultants and internal project teams
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and internal/Client BIM standards
- Support BIM coordination meetings and clash detection processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows and company standards
The requirements:
- Proven experience as a Revit Technician in a UK-based architectural or engineering practice
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities
Desirable:
- Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, or other BIM software
