A great opportunity to start a temporary site carpentry role in the Newcastle Tyne region. You will be working for a busy principal contractor that provides contractual services to dockyards, MOD projects, as well as private contracts in environmental services across the UK.
This contract will be ongoing, with shift patterns of 7 days a week, 10 hours each day.
(Overtime rates available for weekend shifts)
Standard hourly rate: Β£24 per hour
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Fit out
- Refurbishment
- Drylining, partitions, and stud work
- Boat refurbishment & fit out
- Tidying up after yourself at the end of each shift
- Site safety and helping to maintain a safe working environment
- Taking instructions from management
- Reporting and rectifying hazards
Requirements:
- CSCS card
- Professional attitude at all times
- Good work ethic
- Appropriate tools
- Experience in carpentry and fit out
- PPE
- Driving license is beneficial but not essential
