Groundworker - Responsive Repairs
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £34,000-£36,000 per annum
Build Recruitment is looking for an experienced Groundworker to join a social housing responsive repairs contract covering Cardiff.
You’ll carry out groundworks repairs and maintenance to occupied properties and communal areas, delivering quality work and a professional service to residents.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and laying paving slabs, paths and patios.
- Carrying out concreting, brickwork and boundary wall repairs.
- Completing drainage repairs and associated groundwork.
- Identifying defects and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
- Keeping residents informed and leaving work areas clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Previous groundworks experience, ideally within social housing or property maintenance.
- A practical understanding of paving, concreting, drainage and brickwork repairs.
- Good customer service skills and a reliable approach.
- A full UK driving licence
