Domestic Gas Engineer – Cornwall£42,000 Van Fuel Card Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading provider of heating, maintenance and renewable energy services within the social housing sector, who are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover Cornwall. This is a permanent opportunity with a well-established company, offering job security, career progression and ongoing training. The RoleYou will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas appliances and heating systems across social housing properties in Cornwall. Your duties will include: Carrying out domestic gas servicing, repairs and breakdowns Diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently Completing all work in line with Gas Safe regulations Ordering parts and managing jobs through to completion Using a PDA to update jobs and record completed work Liaising with tenants and clients Taking part in the company call-out rota Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Requirements Current Gas Safe registration ACS qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 NVQ Level 2 or equivalent City & Guilds Energy Efficiency qualification Previous domestic gas servicing and breakdown experience Experience working on social housing or housing association contracts Full UK driving licence A full DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
