We are recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager to join a leading MEP contractor on a large, complex construction project based close to Bristol. This is a senior, permanent role offering a salary of up to £80,000, with responsibility for managing all site logistics activities in support of major MEP delivery packages.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage site logistics operations for MEP works on a large-scale project
- Develop and implement detailed logistics strategies, plans, and procedures
- Coordinate deliveries, storage, lifting operations, and material flow for MEP packages
- Manage logistics teams, supervisors, and external service providers
- Work closely with project, construction, and commercial teams to support programme delivery
- Ensure compliance with H&S, site rules, and best practice logistics standards
- Manage logistics budgets, resources, and performance
- Liaise with the main contractor and other stakeholders to resolve access and coordination issues
About You
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on large construction projects
- Strong background working on MEP or building services projects
- Experience managing logistics on complex and large sites
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Good understanding of construction H&S regulations
- Right to work in the UK
