Are you an experienced compliance leader with a strong background in retrofit and sustainability? Do you enjoy leading teams, building relationships and ensuring high standards are consistently achieved? We’re looking for a Sustainability Compliance Manager to lead a growing regional compliance team, overseeing the successful delivery of domestic retrofit projects across the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering energy efficiency programmes that make a real difference to communities, while protecting significant government funding through robust compliance and quality management.

The Role

You’ll lead and develop a team responsible for ensuring retrofit projects are delivered in line with PAS 2030:2023, PAS 2035 and MCS requirements, maintaining accreditations and driving best practice across the business. You’ll work closely with operational teams, clients and certification bodies, providing expert guidance while ensuring compliance documentation is completed accurately and on time. This is a varied, client-facing position, combining people leadership, technical compliance and stakeholder management, with regular travel across regional projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience managing and developing a compliance, sustainability or quality team.
  • Strong knowledge of retrofit, PAS 2030:2023, PAS 2035 and/or MCS standards.
  • Experience working within government-funded or energy efficiency programmes.
  • Confident managing external accreditations and certification audits.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities across several projects.
