A growing construction and professional services contractor is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its team, working on education and professional services projects (schools, universities, SEN environments) valued between £50k-£500k. The role offers broad exposure across commercial management, pre-construction, estimating, and project delivery, with strong development and progression opportunities.
Key Duties for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Pricing, cost planning & pre‑construction support
- Variations, valuations & commercial reporting
- Supplier & subcontractor liaison
- Fit‑out & refurbishment projects (ceilings, flooring, labs, toilets, cabinetry)
- Support PMs on delivery, cost control & small works
- Assist with CAD drawings and design coordination
About You, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Junior QS or Graduate with site/project experience
- Construction, fit‑out or refurbishment background preferred
- HNC / HND / Degree (or equivalent experience)
