I am looking for a Senior Surveyor to join a housing association in the North Somerset area. The Senior Surveyor will be responsible for complex Damp and Mould cases whilst also leading and supervising a technical team of surveyors. The right candidate will have a formal building qualification to be considered for the position.
Duties of the Senior Surveyor:
- Undertaking surveys for complex damp and mould cases where required.
- Applying robust building pathology and diagnostic techniques.
- Supporting surveyors with technical advice and decision-making.
- Working closely with the managers to deliver service objectives.
- Supporting complaint resolution and responses related to damp and mould cases.
- Deputising for the manager and acting as a point of escalation for damp and mould queries.
- Managing the complaints and helping ensure that the team keep within the regulatory and legal timescales, as well as identifying ways to improve customer service.
What is required for the Senior Surveyor role:
- HNC / HND or Equivalent.
- Detailed understanding on HHSRS.
- Strong technical surveying background.
- Understanding of legislations surrounding DMC.
