Experienced Bathroom Fitter required to work on void social housing properties in West Cornwall (Truro and surrounding areas). This position will start temporary for 12 weeks through the agency, with the possibility of a permanent contract if both parties are satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in empty council properties installing new bathrooms for new tenants.
- Rip out old bathrooms and install new units to specification, including tiling, paneling, flooring, sealing, painting, and installing fixtures such as sinks, baths, and toilets.
- Ensure work is completed to the correct standard and report progress to the supervisor.
- Drive a work van safely and responsibly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Extensive experience fitting bathrooms.
- Plumbing qualifications desirable.
- Good attitude, honest and reliable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good references from previous bathroom fitting jobs.
- DBS check will be carried out.
Contract & Salary
- Contract type: Permanent – Full Time.
- Salary range: £35,000 – £37,440 per annum, plus a van and fuel card.
