Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a prestigious heritage restoration project based in Torpoint. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and process-driven professional to join a well-established contractor on a fixed-term contract delivering works within a sensitive historic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Maintaining strict compliance with health and safety procedures and project-specific processes.
- Ensuring quality standards are met throughout all stages of the project.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Completing site documentation, reports, and records accurately and efficiently.
- Managing works in accordance with heritage project requirements and conservation considerations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on heritage or listed building projects.
- Highly process-driven with excellent organisational and documentation skills.
- Valid SMSTS certification.
- Valid 3-Day First Aid at Work certificate.
- Valid CSCS Gold Card (minimum requirement).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management procedures.
- Ability to lead teams effectively and maintain programme delivery.
