We are recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of approximately 5-10 live fire safety projects at a time across multiple social housing contracts. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for project delivery, supporting site teams and ensuring each programme is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing approximately 5-10 live fire safety projects
- Managing and supporting Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors
- Monitoring programmes, budgets, resources and project performance
- Ensuring compliance with fire safety, building and health and safety regulations
- Reviewing project documentation, RAMS and quality records
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Leading progress meetings and providing regular performance reports
- Identifying and resolving operational or commercial risks
- Ensuring works meet contractual and quality requirements
- Supporting project handovers and final account completion
The successful candidate will require:
- Senior project management experience within passive fire or fire safety works
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of fire doors, fire stopping and compartmentation
- Social housing and occupied-property experience
- Experience managing Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills
- SMSTS and an appropriate CSCS card
- Excellent leadership, communication and client-management skills
