About the Role
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced 1st & 2nd fix carpenter to join our client’s reactive maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day Carpentry upgrades and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of carpentry repairs in domestic/social housing settings
- Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties
- Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., basic plumbing, tiling, etc.)
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits
Requirements
- NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in Carpentry / Joinery
- Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to perform basic secondary trades (desirable)
