Build Recruitment is working with a leading housing provider to recruit a Qualified Electrical Supervisor to their team, covering properties in Berkshire, North West London and the surrounding areas. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring electrical safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across an in-house maintenance workforce. This position combines Electrical Supervisor and NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS) responsibilities, with a focus on inspection, certification, and maintaining high workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the organisation’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor
- Oversee electrical compliance across maintenance activities
- Carry out inspections, audits, and quality checks
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and statutory regulations
- Manage certification and compliance records
- Support and mentor electricians and supervisors
- Identify risks and drive service improvements
Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (incl. AM2 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- Inspection & Testing (2391 / 2394 & 2395 or equivalent)
- Experience in supervisory/QS/compliance roles
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience in housing, maintenance, or DLO environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and certification
- Good communication and stakeholder skills
- Attention to detail and ability to challenge standards
