Damp & Mould Operative – Walton on Thames | £20.50 CIS | Van & Fuel Card Provided | Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for experienced Damp and Mould Operatives to work with a reputable contractor on social housing properties across the Walton on Thames area.
- Pay Rate: £20.50 per hour (CIS)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Ongoing
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Half hour break)
- Benefits: Company van and fuel card provided
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat damp and mould issues in occupied and void social housing properties
- Carry out relevant repairs, including anti-mould washes, redecoration, and associated carpentry or plastering tasks
- Identify underlying issues and report where further work may be required
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to tenants
- Maintain clear records of work completed using a PDA or job sheets
Requirements
- Proven experience in damp and mould work, preferably in social housing
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Own tools (specialist tools can be provided where necessary)
- Valid CSCS card (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and customer service approach
