About the Role
We are expanding our Maintenance Officer team to support the delivery of high-quality services across Oxford key worker and student accommodation sites. This role focuses on compliance, minor repairs, and general site support.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Carrying out compliance checks, including meter readings, flushing void properties, and minor remedial works
- Completing small reactive repairs (typically 15 minutes or less) across key worker and student accommodation
- Moving items and materials between sites as required, supporting property managers
- Ensuring all compliance requirements for key worker and student properties are met
- Delivering excellent customer care and maintaining high service standards at all times
Role Criteria
Essential- Previous experience as a Handyperson, Maintenance Officer, or Site Maintenance Operative
- Experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and general repairs
- Previous experience working within social housing
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 points
- Ability to provide own tools (company van and uniform provided)
- Good level of physical fitness
- Flexible, proactive, and reliable approach to work
- Experience completing compliance checks, such as water meter readings, flushing void properties, and electric meter checks
