We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery on a brand-new energy plant project based in Necton, Norwich. This is a key role overseeing a complex scheme including substation works, transformer bases and installation, switch rooms, and FRC works.
The Role:
- Manage day-to-day site operations on a live energy project
- Oversee transformer base construction and installation works
- Coordinate substation and switch room delivery
- Lead and manage up to 60 personnel on site
- Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain programme and progress
- Use MS Project and digital tools to track timelines and reporting
- Ensure all HSE and quality standards are met
This role is more office-based than hands-on, with a strong focus on planning, coordination, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within energy and civils projects
- Strong background in substations / power / infrastructure schemes
- Excellent organisational and IT skills (MS Project essential)
- Ability to manage large site teams and multiple workstreams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Desirable:
- Temporary Works Coordinator ticket
