Planning Lead
North West Hybrid Working £70,000 - £90,000 (DOE) package
We’re currently looking for an experienced Planning Lead / Planning Manager to join our clients team, working across a portfolio of high-value, technically complex projects in the North West.
What’s involved?
- Lead the planning strategy and project controls across major MEP projects.
- Develop and manage integrated programmes from design through to commissioning and handover.
- Own critical path, programme risk, forecasting and recovery planning.
- Provide planning expertise across EOTs, delay analysis and claims.
- Work closely with Project Directors, Commercial teams, clients and senior stakeholders.
- Support bids, tenders and wider project planning where required.
- Lead and mentor other planners, with direct reports possible.
What do we need?
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong planning experience across major MEP / engineering projects.
- Experience within a Tier 1 MEP, building services or major engineering contractor.
- Must haveASTA Powerproject experience – essential.
- Solid knowledge of EOTs, delay analysis, claims and contractual programmes.
- Good understanding of NEC, JCT or similar forms of contract.
- The confidence to challenge programmes and influence Project Directors, Commercial teams and clients.
- Experience across the full project lifecycle.
