We’re recruiting two Mobile Fabric Engineers / Handymen to join a growing and supportive maintenance team, with one role covering West London and one covering South London. These positions are ideal for someone who lives in either West or South London and is looking for a new opportunity in the New Year.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across a portfolio of sites, carrying out general building maintenance and fabric repairs. You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload, take pride in your work, and deliver a high level of service to clients on site.
Day-to-day duties will include:
- General fabric maintenance such as basic carpentry
- Plumbing repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Minor patch repairs
- Door and lock adjustments
- General handyman tasks
You’ll respond to reactive maintenance issues as well as complete planned works, ensuring all jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll also represent the business professionally when dealing with clients and site contacts.
We’re looking for candidates with previous experience in a building maintenance, fabric engineer, or handyman role, with good all-round trade skills and a practical approach to problem-solving. A full, clean UK manual driving licence is essential, as you’ll be using a company van. You should be reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
In return, the role offers a salary of up to £33,000 per year, a company van and fuel card, uniform, tools, and PPE provided, as well as ongoing training and support. Interviews will be taking place in the New Year.
