Mechanical Site Manager
London £60,000 – £70,000
We’re looking for 2 experienced Mechanical Site Managers to join a major £10M mechanical project in London .
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager who has built their career within a mechanical environment and is comfortable taking ownership of site delivery, coordinating teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The Role
As Mechanical Site Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the mechanical works on site.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors and labour, monitoring progress and working closely with the wider project team to keep everything moving to programme.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site teams
- Working closely with the wider project team, including the client and other trades
- Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with RAMS and site requirements
- Overseeing quality, snagging and completion of mechanical works
- Reviewing drawings and resolving technical queries on site
- Maintaining site documentation and supporting the management of variations
- Building strong working relationships with the client and project team
About You
We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager who understands what it takes to deliver mechanical works in a live construction environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- Several years' experience working within a mechanical subcontractor environment
- Proven experience managing mechanical installation works on site
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pipework and plant installation
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- The ability to coordinate multiple activities and keep works on programme
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership on site, lead from the front and deliver.
