We are currently looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a social housing maintenance team, carrying out grounds maintenance duties across residential properties and communal areas throughout London.
THE ROLE:
- Carrying out grounds maintenance across social housing estates and communal areas
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming and pruning
- Weeding, planting and general garden maintenance
- Maintaining communal gardens, green spaces and external areas
- Clearing leaves, green waste and general garden debris
- Keeping pathways, communal areas and external spaces clean, safe and presentable
- Reporting any damage or maintenance issues identified while on site
- Working professionally around residents and within occupied properties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous grounds maintenance or gardening experience
- Social housing or residential experience is desirable
- Own vehicle is essential due to travelling between properties
- Experience using gardening machinery and hand tools
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Able to work independently
£16.45 per hour CIS 8:00am – 5:00pm
North London head office – covering properties across London
