We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will bring extensive handsâon experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems across commercial, residential, and government buildings. The role requires a reliable, selfâmotivated engineer with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of fire alarm systems
- Reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of sites
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system inspections
- PAT testing and safety checks
- Fire extinguisher installation, replacement, and maintenance
Surveying & Project Work
- Conduct site surveys and prepare assessments
- Support project management activities, including planning and scheduling
- Job pricing, quoting, and inventory management
- Ordering and managing materials and equipment
Customer Interaction & Reporting
- Provide high-quality customer support and on-site training where required
- Liaise with clients, building management, and stakeholders
- Prepare clear job reports, documentation, and compliance records
Additional Technical Duties
- Carry out work across commercial facilities, residential developments, and government properties
- Support general electrical and security installations where required
- Perform troubleshooting, circuit tracing, and general electrical tasks (as experienced in prior roles)
