Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading Housing Association to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their reactive maintenance team across North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a well‑paid, long‑term role with excellent benefits and consistent local work.

The Role

  • You will be carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs within occupied domestic and social housing properties.
  • The role requires strong fault‑finding skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to deliver high‑quality work in tenants’ homes.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

  • Fault finding and diagnostics on domestic electrical systems
  • Testing & inspection, including EICRs
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works
  • Working within occupied properties and liaising with tenants
  • Using a PDA to manage and complete jobs
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical maintenance, testing, or domestic installations
  • Background in social housing, housing associations, or council properties preferred
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Qualifications Required

  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • NVQ Level 3 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
