Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading Housing Association to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their reactive maintenance team across North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a well‑paid, long‑term role with excellent benefits and consistent local work.
The Role
- You will be carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs within occupied domestic and social housing properties.
- The role requires strong fault‑finding skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to deliver high‑quality work in tenants’ homes.
Day‑to‑Day Duties
- Fault finding and diagnostics on domestic electrical systems
- Testing & inspection, including EICRs
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works
- Working within occupied properties and liaising with tenants
- Using a PDA to manage and complete jobs
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Experience in electrical maintenance, testing, or domestic installations
- Background in social housing, housing associations, or council properties preferred
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Qualifications Required
- City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
