We are currently recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established business operating within the fire door industry, based out of Glasgow. This is a 12-week temporary to permanent opportunity, offering a clear route to long-term employment for the right candidate.
We are particularly keen to hear from experienced Contracts Managers, but will also happily consider experienced Joiners who have strong knowledge of fire doors and can confidently survey, price, and manage jobs.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing fire door projects from initial survey through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, and within budget.
- Managing multiple fire door contracts simultaneously
- Carrying out site surveys and producing accurate costings and quotations
- Overseeing installation, remediation, and maintenance works
- Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards
- Liaising with clients, site teams, and subcontractors
- Monitoring programme progress, costs, and quality of workmanship
- Completing and reviewing project documentation and reports
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within construction or fire protection
- Fire door industry experience is essential OR an experienced Joiner with the ability to survey, price, and manage projects
- Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads independently and professionally
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)
