Quantity Surveyor – Tier One Contractor

Location: Oxfordshire (office based in Faringdon)

Salary: Up to £55,000 package

Employment Type: Full-Time ¦ Permanent

An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier One Contractor delivering an SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) contract in partnership with a major housing association. Projects are located across Oxfordshire, focused on retrofit and sustainability-driven improvement works.

As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll oversee the commercial management of multiple sites, ensuring best value, cost control, and contract compliance from procurement through to final account. You’ll manage subcontractor performance, produce financial reports, and maintain strong client and supply chain relationships while promoting safety and quality on every project.

We’re seeking an experienced QS with a solid background in main contracting, ideally with retrofit, housing, or social value project exposure. You’ll have strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar.
