Hours: Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to join a well-established facilities team at a static site in Chiswick. This is a Monday to Friday role, offering a stable working pattern within a professional building environment.

The Fabric Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard at all times. Duties will include general building fabric works such as:

  • Painting and decorating
  • Basic carpentry
  • Patch repairs
  • Door and lock adjustments
  • Minor plumbing tasks
  • Tiling
  • Ceiling tile replacement
  • General handyman duties

You will work closely with the wider facilities team, responding to maintenance requests, completing scheduled works, and ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. A strong focus will be placed on attention to detail, presentation, and customer service within a commercial environment.

Candidates must have previous experience in a fabric or building maintenance role and be comfortable working independently on site. You will need to be willing to complete a basic DBS check as part of the onboarding process.

Please note, interviews for this role will not take place until January. This role would suit a reliable and practical Fabric Engineer looking for a long-term, stable position within a static site.
