Location – Exeter, Devon
An excellent opportunity to be introduced to a southwest based internal fit-out contractoroperating within the construction sector. They provide a variety of trade services within the shopfitting andcommercialbuilding industry.
They pride themselveson delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, as a small but busy team ofskilled professional trades.
Day to day:
- Apply bonding agents or primers.
- Fit angle beads, stop beads, centrebeads, etc.
- Mix render or hardwall plaster to the correct consistency.
- Experience and competence in workingwith lime render mixes.
- Float and set.
- Prepare hardwall forfinishing plasterif needed.
- Allow suitable drying or curing times.
- Protect newly applied work if needed.
- Clean working areas, and waste material.
- Check the finished work for hollows, cracks, unevenness, and defects.
Requirements:
- NVQ’sare preferable but not essential.
- CSCS card is essential.
- Proven experience in plastering.
- Must be able to work with render and hardwall.
- Must be able to float and set
- Driving license is preferable but not essential.
- Good time keeping.
- Good work ethic.
- Maintain a tidy work area.
