We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join a very busy construction firm. The role will suit applicants based in and around Exeter or the North Devon area and the role will come with a new van, fuel card, door to door and excellent benefits. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who is looking to have a varied day-to-day job and the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of construction equipment, ensuring that the fleet remains in optimal working condition.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance and fitting duties on a wide range of Plant items such as hydraulic excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and dozers.
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements and guidelines and conduct safety inspections on equipment and report any hazards or concerns.
- Carrying out any mechanical repairs and maintenance duties as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
