We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and rapidly growing heat networks provider based in Epsom. This is a key commercial role within an expanding business delivering complex, M&E-led energy and heat network projects across the UK. The successful candidate will support operational projects from a commercial perspective, working closely with project and operations teams to ensure costs are controlled, budgets are managed effectively, and projects are delivered within financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Managing cost control and budgets across multiple operational projects
- Preparing valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts
- Monitoring project performance and reporting on commercial progress
- Working closely with project and operations teams to drive efficiency
- Identifying cost risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting successful project delivery
- Providing commercial guidance and mentoring where required
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Strong background in M&E, energy, utilities, or engineering-led projects
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
- Commercially astute with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Confident communicator able to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Experience in fast-paced or growing organisations is advantageous
