We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and rapidly growing heat networks provider based in Epsom. This is a key commercial role within an expanding business delivering complex, M&E-led energy and heat network projects across the UK. The successful candidate will support operational projects from a commercial perspective, working closely with project and operations teams to ensure costs are controlled, budgets are managed effectively, and projects are delivered within financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Managing cost control and budgets across multiple operational projects
  • Preparing valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts
  • Monitoring project performance and reporting on commercial progress
  • Working closely with project and operations teams to drive efficiency
  • Identifying cost risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting successful project delivery
  • Providing commercial guidance and mentoring where required

About You

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong background in M&E, energy, utilities, or engineering-led projects
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Commercially astute with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Confident communicator able to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience in fast-paced or growing organisations is advantageous
