Electrician - Shropshire

Commercial - Renewables - Solar PV installation project

Temporary position, 1 month contract

A great opportunity to start a temporary role as a commercial electrician servicing a temporary solar installation project in Shropshire. To start ASAP.

Day to day:

  • Installing and commissioning solar PV electrical system.
  • Running cables.
  • Working with inverters.
  • Connecting boards.
  • Communicate and work with design team, project managers.
  • Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment.
  • To bring any risks to the attention of the company management.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 electrician.
  • 18th Edition.
  • JIB/ECS/CSCS card.
  • 2391 test and inspection (Preferable but not essential).
  • AM2 (Preferable but not essential).
  • IPAF (Preferable but not essential).
  • Previous experience as an electrician is essential.
  • Previous experience within the renewables sector is essential.
  • Good timekeeping.
  • To conduct oneself professionally at all times.
  • To maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
