The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee night operations at a flagship commercial and events site in West London. This is a supervisory role with hands-on responsibility, leading a small engineering team while ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, resilient, and fully operational overnight.

The site is both technically demanding and event-driven, hosting seasonal activities on the scale of major sporting and entertainment venues. We are looking for someone who enjoys working under pressure, can think quickly when issues arise, and takes pride in delivering reliability in a critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the night shift team, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard
  • Oversee the operation of electrical plant including LV/HV systems, pumps, motors, AHUs, and BMS
  • Act as first point of escalation for technical and electrical issues during nights
  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols, statutory regulations, and client requirements
  • Assist in event readiness, ensuring systems are prepared for increased seasonal demand
  • Manage accurate shift handovers, logs, and reporting

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test & Inspection)
  • High Voltage experience or AP status (advantageous)
  • Background in critical environments (data centres, broadcast/media, healthcare, or similar)
  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to balance technical and people management responsibilities
