Fire door carpenters
Location:Dudley
Contract:ongoing work until atleast Dec 2026
Hours:Monday to Friday
Rate:£25 per hour CIS, or pricework
Perks:Weekly pay, option to do pricework to earn more £££
About the Role
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experiencedFire door carpenters to join our client's passive fire teams, focussing on either remedials or installations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day upgrades and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of remedials on firedoors in domestic tenanted and void properties, and also communal areas in tower blocks across the City.
- Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties
- Complete necessary remedial works in line with company H&S Policies and ensuring they are compliant to regulations.
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits.
Requirements
- NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in any relevant trade
- Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Awareness of fire regulation within carpentry & fire doors
