We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a site-based team in Greenwich. This role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, within a structured day-shift rota.

Shift Pattern

  • 5 on / 3 off
  • 7 on / 2 off
  • 7 on / 4 off

Weekly Breakdown

  • Week 1: Monday – Friday on, Saturday – Sunday off
  • Week 2: Monday off, Tuesday – Sunday on
  • Week 3: Monday on, Tuesday – Wednesday off, Thursday – Sunday on
  • Week 4: Monday – Wednesday on, Thursday – Sunday off

Working Hours

  • Week 1: 08:00 – 18:00
  • Weeks 2–4: Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:30, Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 – 17:00

Responsibilities

  • Electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive electrical fault finding and repairs
  • Working on building services electrical systems
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site procedures
  • Completing maintenance documentation accurately

Requirements

  • Strong electrical engineering background
  • Proven experience in commercial or FM environments
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: Up to Β£48,000
