We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a site-based team in Greenwich. This role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, within a structured day-shift rota.
Shift Pattern
- 5 on / 3 off
- 7 on / 2 off
- 7 on / 4 off
Weekly Breakdown
- Week 1: Monday β Friday on, Saturday β Sunday off
- Week 2: Monday off, Tuesday β Sunday on
- Week 3: Monday on, Tuesday β Wednesday off, Thursday β Sunday on
- Week 4: Monday β Wednesday on, Thursday β Sunday off
Working Hours
- Week 1: 08:00 β 18:00
- Weeks 2β4: Monday β Friday: 08:00 β 17:30, Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 β 17:00
Responsibilities
- Electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive electrical fault finding and repairs
- Working on building services electrical systems
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site procedures
- Completing maintenance documentation accurately
Requirements
- Strong electrical engineering background
- Proven experience in commercial or FM environments
- Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
