A leading social housing organisation is seeking a proactive and organised Compliance & Building Safety Support Co-ordinator to join its growing team based near London Bridge. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting building safety, resident wellbeing, and regulatory compliance across a diverse housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Compliance and Building Safety team
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, certification logs, and safety documentation
  • Support the co-ordination of statutory compliance programmes including:
    • Fire Safety
    • Gas Safety
    • Electrical Compliance
    • Asbestos Management
    • Water Hygiene
    • Lift Servicing
  • Schedule inspections, audits, contractor visits, and remedial works
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure timely completion of compliance activities
  • Monitor and track KPIs, service performance, and compliance deadlines
  • Assist with reporting, data analysis, and preparation for audits and inspections
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with regulatory and company standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in compliance, building safety, housing, facilities, or property administration
  • Understanding of social housing compliance and building safety regulations desirable
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and housing/compliance management systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
