We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join a major delivery team working on a large infrastructure project in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, safety-critical programme, taking responsibility for the full lifecycle delivery of major electrical packages — from design and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover.
The Opportunity
- Lead the delivery of major electrical packages from concept through to completion.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage programme, commercial performance, risks and project delivery.
- Act as a key interface with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Oversee design integration, procurement, installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, nuclear and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to Project Engineers and site teams.
About You
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a Degree, HNC or HND and significant experience delivering complex electrical projects within nuclear, energy, major infrastructure, defence, rail, utilities or other highly regulated sectors. You should have strong experience across the project lifecycle, together with excellent stakeholder management, commercial awareness and leadership skills. Nuclear experience is desirable but not essential — candidates from other major, complex and safety-critical environments will be considered where their experience is transferable.
