We are currently recruiting for experienced Schedulers / Repairs Planners to join a leading maintenance contractor delivering repairs and maintenance services on behalf of a local authority. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced team, initially on a 4-week temporary contract, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and coordinating repair and maintenance appointments.
  • Allocating work to operatives and subcontractors efficiently.
  • Managing diaries to maximise productivity and service delivery.
  • Liaising with tenants, clients, operatives, and management teams.
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls regarding repair appointments.
  • Updating internal systems accurately and maintaining records.
  • Monitoring work progress and rescheduling appointments where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, or repairs administration role.
  • Experience within social housing, property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using scheduling systems.
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
