Our client is looking for a Bench Hand joiner to join their team based in a workshop in Keighley on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for a bench hand joiner with a minimum of 5 years' experience to join an incredible team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Working on bespoke, high-end interiors, furniture, and cabinetry.
- Working with a wide range of materials, including MDF, laminates, veneered boards, and softwoods/hardwoods.
- Reading and interpreting detailed construction and CAD drawings to produce work to high specifications.
- Proficiently using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery (e.g., dimension saws) to create bespoke, high-end items.
- Ensuring all products meet strict quality standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in bench hand joinery is typically required.
- Good working knowledge of woodworking machinery and tools.
- Ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
Pay rate is negotiable based on experience.
