Ready to lead a high-profile industrial roofing project from the front? We're looking for an experienced Senior Construction Manager / Principal Contractor Site Manager to take full site leadership responsibility on a major roof refurbishment and ventilator replacement project in Chester.
Working under CDM 2015, you'll coordinate multiple contractors, manage complex work-at-height operations, oversee crane lifts and scaffold activities, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead all site operations as Principal Contractor
- Manage roofing, scaffold, crane and specialist subcontractors
- Oversee high-risk works at approximately 30m height
- Review and implement RAMS and safe systems of work
- Coordinate lifting operations and contractor interfaces
- Drive programme delivery, safety, and compliance throughout the project
What We're Looking For
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black Card
- First Aid at Work
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015
- Proven experience delivering roofing, work-at-height, or other high-risk construction projects
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced site activities
