Ready to lead a high-profile industrial roofing project from the front? We're looking for an experienced Senior Construction Manager / Principal Contractor Site Manager to take full site leadership responsibility on a major roof refurbishment and ventilator replacement project in Chester.

Working under CDM 2015, you'll coordinate multiple contractors, manage complex work-at-height operations, oversee crane lifts and scaffold activities, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead all site operations as Principal Contractor
  • Manage roofing, scaffold, crane and specialist subcontractors
  • Oversee high-risk works at approximately 30m height
  • Review and implement RAMS and safe systems of work
  • Coordinate lifting operations and contractor interfaces
  • Drive programme delivery, safety, and compliance throughout the project

What We're Looking For

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Strong knowledge of CDM 2015
  • Proven experience delivering roofing, work-at-height, or other high-risk construction projects
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced site activities

Desirable

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Temporary Works or lifting operations awareness
  • Industrial roofing refurbishment experience
