With offices throughout the UK, they deliver projects on time and on budget for all sizes of customers within the construction and civil engineering sectors. They offer a full range of innovative topographical, underground utility (PAS128), measured building, hydrographic, rail, engineering and geographic survey solutions across a broad range of sectors in the UK and abroad. The Utility Surveyor Role They currently have an opportunity for a Utility Surveyor, who would be ideally based in the Midlands region, with the willingness to combine hybrid working with travel to projects / schemes of work, up to Manchester & Leeds, and down to the North Home Counties. The Utility Surveyor will primarily be carrying out PAS128 surveys on a wide variety of rail and road related projects. Tracing and recording buried utilities using utility survey techniques such as EML / GPR and using Total Stations and GNSS. Then liaising with clients and staff at all levels within the business. The Successful Utility Surveyor * Previous experience and fully competent using EML / GPR equipment * Previous experience working as a Utility Surveyor and locating utility plant * Able to read and understand drawings * You should be fully proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD (desirable) * A willingness to travel to site, work from the office, and home * Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines. * Effective communication skills and good time keeping. * Full UK driving licence. * CSCS card
