The Supply Chain Manager
Supply chain is a vital component part of this organisation and they are seeking to bring someone into the team who is able to spearhead their focus on greater engagement and direction with their supply partners, developing relationship initiatives and ensuring they cement a strategy of being the partner of choice for the highest performing suppliers. The role demands some track record of supply chain engagement and they are open to suitable salary ranges based upon experience and expertise. This will be a predominantly office-based role; however, travel would be required for visits to sites and suppliers' premises.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager
- Position them as the preferred client for leading suppliers in the UK.
- Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with the best-in-class suppliers across all trades.
- Foster a culture of mutual respect, transparency, and long-term collaboration.
- Lead the pre-qualification process for new suppliers, ensuring alignment with standards.

- Collaborate with the commercial team to support estimating and tendering processes.
- Ensure supply chain activities support ISOQAR certification for safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including digital solutions for streamlining workflows.
- Support the wider compliance team with documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Work closely with the pre-contract, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure fair distribution of opportunities across the supply chain.
- Facilitate two-way feedback between internal teams and suppliers to strengthen relationships and drive performance.
- Ensure supply chain developments are communicated clearly and consistently across the business.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members, supporting their development.
- Escalate issues to the Commercial Director or Head of Standards when needed and contribute to strategic discussions.
