Site Manager – Fast Track Commercial Interiors & Refurbishment * c£50K – £60K Salaries * Car Allowances * Discussion on Day Rates * Additional Benefits The Company Based in the Midlands my client is one of the leading workplace design and fit-out companies with an extensive portfolio of blue chip clients across the UK. Specialising in workplace design, refurbishment, fit-out, design & build and relocation management they work alongside facilities departments, developers, building surveyors and commercial property agents to set industry standards in design, restructuring and refurbishment of the contemporary workspace. The Site Manager Role: Based in the Midlands they require two Site Managers to take control of the delivery of commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects. These projects are Fast Track Design & Build Fit-Outs, with project values from £500k to £3m. They could involve structural alterations and will have a heavy M&E content. Site Managers Roles & Responsibilities Include: * Responsible for programme completion – monitoring progress against programme, taking remedial action where appropriate, protecting the company’s contractual position at all times. * Management of Health & Safety – to implement and maintain high standards of Health & Safety on site in accordance with the company’s H&S policy and construction phase H&S plan. * Control of site – to oversee all site activities, being available at all times to deal with any site specific problems or queries. * Cost Management – to manage the project within budget, safeguarding the company’s financial position at all times. * Management of all Site Operatives – to manage all staff including the appointment and review of all trade and subcontractors. * Quality Control – to maintain high standards of quality on each project. * Client Satisfaction – to develop and maintain good working relationships with design team / client and supply chain. The Successful Site Manager: * It is essential you can demonstrate experience delivering commercial office interior fit-out and refurbishment projects, with project values from £500k to £3m. * Refurbishment experience should include structural alterations. * Demonstrate experience dealing with demanding clients and associated Architects and Project Managers * Relevant CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Qualifications
