Senior Quantity Surveyor ā High End Luxury Residential & Hotel Projects * cĀ£70k – Ā£80k (Dependent on Relevant Experience) * Additional Benefits ā Travel Allowance / Pension The Company My client is a leading Main / Principal Interiors Contractor, providing products and services to create high end luxury interior environments in the High End Residential, Leading Hotels and Restaurants in the London and the UK. They focus on winning complex and interesting projects often involving new build extensions, cut & carves, complex groundworks and the introduction of basements to existing properties. The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role: Focusing on projects in the High End Residential & Hotel sector they are looking for a Senior Level Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team to deliver complex refurbishment and interior fit-out projects, to an exclusive clientele, throughout Central London. You will join a senior management team made of individuals who have come together with extensive experience in the High End Interiors market place. Roles & Responsibilities Include: * Review cost plan information, agree target margins, advise on risks and develop project budgets. * Analyse sub-contractor quotations and place orders. * Agree monthly valuations with the PQS, raise invoices and secure payment. * Produce monthly status reports and attend meetings * Administer final accounts with clients and sub-contractors The Project Quantity Surveyor: * In-depth knowledge of the construction process including both new build and fit-out / refurbishment * Experience in the majority of the above roles & responsibilities * Degree qualified BTEC or Higher National equivalent * 10 years full time experience in a surveying role with a leading reputable main / principle contractor * Good Understanding of JCT forms of contract & Contract law * Good knowledge and understanding of Word and Excel packages * Good verbal and written communication skills
